Key Responsibilities
• Perform detailed acoustical modeling and analysis using tools such as CATT, EASE, SoundPlan, and Cadna/A.
• Lead field testing and assessments, including noise, vibration, and reverberation time measurements.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports, presentations, and deliverables for clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and project teams to develop tailored acoustical solutions for diverse environments, including commercial, residential, industrial, and environmental projects.
• Stay informed on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and evolving regulations to ensure the application of best practices.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to budgets and quality standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants, helping them grow and thrive within the organization.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Architecture, Physics, or a related field, with extensive coursework in acoustics or noise control.
• 5-10 years of professional experience in acoustical consulting, covering areas such as architectural acoustics, environmental noise, or vibration control.
• Advanced proficiency with acoustical modeling and measurement tools (e.g., SoundPlan, Cadna/A, CATT, EASE).
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Willingness and ability to travel for project-related work, including field testing and client meetings.

Preferred:

• Experience with 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
• Professional certifications such as INCE Bd. Cert., LEED, AIA, or PE are highly desirable.
• Background in music, audio engineering, or sound design is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and identify opportunities for business development.
