ICT Designer
Location: Fully Remote (US-based projects)
Sector: Data Centre / Mission Critical Design
The Opportunity
We're working with a leading MEPT consulting firm specialising in data centre and mission-critical projects. They’re looking to add an ICT Designer to support a growing pipeline of hyperscale work.
This is a good move for someone who wants to step properly into the data centre market while working on technically complex, high-value projects—with the flexibility and support to develop long term.
Why This Company Stands Out
- Work Flexibility
- Fully remote role with a flexible schedule—built around output rather than hours, while still offering consistent project flow.
- Strong Benefits Package
- Full healthcare, retirement contributions, and unlimited time off, alongside a culture that actually supports using it.
- Career Development (Genuine Investment)
- Paid support for further education and certifications
- Bonuses tied to passing industry exams
- Clear pathway into more senior / leadership involvement
- High-Profile Projects
- Work on hyperscale data centre projects, supporting critical infrastructure and complex system design.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering ICT / low-voltage design packages across data centre and mission-critical projects, working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Producing ICT system designs (structured cabling, pathways, telecom rooms, etc.)
- Supporting full design lifecycle—from concept through construction documentation
- Coordinating with MEP teams and other design disciplines
- Assisting with drawing production (Revit / AutoCAD) and technical documentation
- Supporting client coordination and responding to RFIs / design queries
- Contributing to quality and consistency across design deliverables
What They’re Looking For
- Experience in ICT / low-voltage design within an engineering or consulting environment
- Exposure to data centre, healthcare, or other complex infrastructure projects (data centre interest is key)
- Working knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Strong coordination mindset—comfortable working across disciplines
- Interest in developing technically and working towards certifications (RCDD, CTS, etc.)
Why It’s Worth a Conversation
This is a solid opportunity if you’re looking to:
- Move away from heavily repetitive sectors (e.g. healthcare)
- Get into data centres at the right stage of the market
- Work in a business that backs development with time and money
- Keep flexibility without sacrificing project quality or progression
